On January 23, 1976, Steve C. Demakos founded St. Eve Creations, Inc. The company — whose name was derived from his auspicious given name — was designed to target the growing novelty cotton panty market. The company has since grown into the sleepwear and children’s markets. The St. Eve corporate headquarters were first located in the fashion center of the world — New York City — where they remain today.

St. Eve sells to all major department stores, including Bloomingdale’s, Macy’s, Nordstrom, Bealls, Mandee’s, Loehmanns, Frederick’s of Hollywood, Filene’s, Robinson’s, Fashion Bug, Marshall Field’s, Urban Outfitters, Kohl’s, Sears, and JC Penneys.
